In 1999, Yoni Park began painting by copying watercolors in instruction books. It is remarkable that on her own, without any training in the visual arts, she was able to work on such a high level from the very beginning. She copied watercolors for three years until she entered Studio Incamminati’s first class in 2002 to study with Nelson Shanks. Many of those early paintings (shown chronologically) can be seen below.
